 "Winter Thaw"
Chickadee in Holly

Winter holly bends low with the weight of snow beginning to melt. The branches often reach to the ground after a heavy snowstorm. Melting snows are heard dripping throughout the forest and the energetic tiny chickadees pop in and out of the shadows, chattering as they look for small insects or berries.
