"Dragonfly Dawn" Dragonfly and Hedge Bindweed
The last few blackberries ripen in a warm morning mist. The white hedge bindweed is a native morning glory flower and usually prefers the moist edges of a sunny meadow. Dragonflies dart too and fro, snatching at mosquitos and other flying prey that may have been attracted by the sweet scent of flowers and sugar-laden berries.
